Well October is approaching soon, my favorite month for many reasons, one of course being that it's the month HA premiered in Very Happy But, another being that it's the month that my favorite sport, NHL hockey, starts! Do we have any other NHL fans here? I am a Flyers fan as evident by my avatar, haha, the past few years haven't quite been their best but I'm always hopeful for a better year, and of course, for another Stanley Cup trophy... Can't believe this season is their 50th already!

So, let's talk some NHL, and leave the fighting to the players Very Happy

As the only Canadian on the board here... October is my favourite month - hockey season! Here's hoping my Leafs climb out of the basement!

have you ever visited the Hockey Hall of Fame in Toronto? I've heard it's inside a mall and is not very big

It's been a long time since I've been there- I'd say almost 20 years... I was at their old location and haven't been into the new one. So I honestly don't know - all I can say is that everything seems bigger when your only 9 years old LOL they change exhibits all the time so it's always something new and fresh - so if I were to go again it's basically me going again for the first time anyway.

Always wanted to go to Cooperstown :-) how was it there? I wouldn't be able to leave unless I took a photo of Roberto Alomar's plaque!

Cooperstown is amazing! I recommend visiting it in October, when the foilage is nice.. but yea, the Baseball Hall of Fame is incredible, and the town of Cooperstown is great too, pretty much every other store in town is a baseball collectibles store.. and it's also home to the Omeganng Brewery Very Happy

Canton Ohio on the other hand, is not so scenic, heh, I visited it in March and it was snowing like crazy there... but, the Football Hall of Fame is totally worth a visit

and hey, no worries about being a Blues fan Mouse9, we're all HA fans on here, I won't bash anyone's team Very Happy

Makes me wonder... what would Arnold's team be?  Since Craig Bartlett has pretty much stated that the city of Hillwood is heavily based on the Pacific Northwest where he grew up (Seattle/Portland area)... if Seattle (or Hillwood) had a team, what would it be called? Smile

Looking forward to the new NHL season... AUSTON MATTHEWS AND MITCH MARNER WUT WUT

hm, I dunno what a Seattle hockey team would be called.. The Flannels? lol, or The Grungers...

I guess the mere closest thing to the Pacific Northwest's NHL team would be the San Jose Sharks

Arnold does like hockey from what I recall, I remember one episode where him and his grandpa were at a hockey game in the beginning, I forget which one..

The Seattle Steelheads! Since Seattle is an area of North American well known for its salmon runs... I think it would be pretty cool Smile

OMG season is almost here - can't wait!

Flyers home opener tonight, wohoo! I have it on now... So far they have won 1 and lost 2, but oh well, it's still early enough..

I don't use instagram but looking at his page now, he seems like a really cool guy, I love the pic of his hockey card collection Very Happy

Funny, I could kinda picture Sid being a big NHL fan, lol, I could just see him getting into fights of fans of the rival team, haha..

And, I found his twitter but he doesn't seem to use it that much
