Anyone interested in Drawpile?

So I've been making attempts at find a good draw chat program to host some sort of HA! sketch/chat party in the near future.  So far I think our best bet is https://drawpile.net.  If you're interested in chatting/drawing/watching others draw HA! stuff then I recommend getting the program.  I'd like to test it out later today with a couple people just to make sure it works so if you'd like to help with that please let me know!

If you know of any programs that work better than Drawpile, I'd like to hear about those too!  I've played with Queeky and another japanese board recently, but DP seems to be the most user friendly at this point.

I am actually a bit interested! But I might have to think about it for a while. So are we going to like doodle or do actual drawings (I'm asking this because I am looking at drawpile pictures on google and I see both sketches and doodles mixed in together, I'm not saying it's a bad thing or anything in case you are wondering and I'm just asking and I think my drawings are more doodles than sketches)?

That looks and sounds like fun! I'd like to watch y'all draw some art and maybe help out by drawing some of the easy small details and stuff like that...

Ooh this sounds fun, I'd be in I haven't done a group draw for a while, I think what my friend and I used to use was opencanvas, can't recall how great it was tho since it's been so long.

I'm in!! Anyways so when are we going to do a draw pile session? I tried installing it on my mac but it says it is not secure, and now I'm actually worried if I click the "Anywhere" thing on the security preferences because I get worried about pop up ads and malware that can install dangerous apps without your knowledge. Than again I can use windows, so that will be good I guess. Oh and can someone draw on draw pile using a mac while someone else is using windows (Sorry I don't really know about this and I'm just asking)?

JFGoofy, I'm on a Mac and it gives me the same notifications. It's mostly because it's not an app supported by the apple store that it gives that warning. There's no problems on having one person using windows while another uses a Mac. Basically one person (probably me) would host and have main control over the room, but everyone else would be able to draw/chat in the same space.

Would 8 pm EST Wednesday work for a practice session for you guys? Please let me know!

Don't feel bad for missing it. The actual session was very short. I'm in the middle of a long work stretch and I couldn't stay up very late last night. I do want to plan a more official one on maybe a weekend or a thursday evening sometime!
