Jfgoofy's Fanart
Okay so these are my doodles from instagram (like I don't use tumblr mobile because I heard it's crap and like I had to send these from instagram to tumblr, save them from tumblr onto my computer and then delete them from tumblr), and I can safely say that I'm not a good fan artist (perhaps I'll improve on the future, but i don't have art programs nor a scanner on my computer so I have to go with this ). These are a couple of the doodles that I have done. I'M VERY ASHAMED OF MYSELF TO SHARE THESE ONTO HERE I DON'T KNOW IF I SHOULD CONSIDER MOST OF THESE ASE PRACTICE DOODLES OR ACTUAL FANART
It's just Harold
Stinky and Sid just staring at each other I guess, I don't know what happened.
Sid screaming in fear (this one is crap because I was doing mouth practice with this I think).
A practice of Eugene based on the screen cap that is associated with him from Eugene's Pet.
Arnold, again like Harold, just standing there, this was a practice doodle and he was pretty hard to draw traditionally.
A terrible picture of Stinky.
This was my first time drawing Stinky (I was using the reference guide for him from a fansite, the drawing is also on DA) and I was kind of ashamed of it and I drew a thought bubble for him that said "help me".
Last but not least, a headshot practice doodle of Sid.
I hope I improve in the future but I'm sadly limited compared to everyone else.

Keep plugging away at it! You seem to have a good thing going there with those doodles. I'm kind of still feeling like a beginner myself sometimes.

Thank you! I've actually seen your drawings both on tumblr and on instagram and I personally think you're better than me, your art is pretty good and cute looking.

Yeah, I do need to make some improvements though. I think I need to draw from references more.

Awww, these are great! Hey, everyone's got to start somewhere and to be honest, I think you draw the characters more 'on model' than I ever do! Keep it up and you'll improve in no time even without all the fancy computer programs.

Sid screaming is hilarious (but in a good way) and I really like that last headshot of him.

I think they are great! You gotta start somewhere--including posting them to help keep you motivating and improving...and this is already better then lots of people who are just starting out. Plus I'm a big fan of 'on model' HA! art :-) If I drew by hand and not digitally mine would look nowhere near as good as yours! :-)

Re: Jfgoofy's Fanart
So within the last month I drew some other stuff and I uh... don't know if I am going to improve or not. Like I know it's been like at least 5 months or so when I started posting my art. Well here are my new drawings.
So I made this drawing based off the famous stairwell scene from "Nosferatu" and I put Stinky as the vampire and I made this drawing because well.. there are two reasons. First I really like horror films, I am a really huge horror fan if you didn't know and I actually became interested in horror films (when I was like 9 years old or when I was a preteen or something, I don't remember) when watching Cinemassacre's Monster Madness series and a couple movies such as "Gremlins" and (if you count it as one) "War of the Worlds" (and yes I am referring to the Spielberg adaption). The final reason is that "Sid the Vampire Slayer" is one of my favorite episodes and it's my favorite involving Sid and it's my second favorite involving Stinky (my favorite is Stinky's Pumpkin).
So I drew this picture of Eugene going bad again but as an axe-murderer. I am a huge Pink Floyd fan and I got this idea from "Careful with That Axe, Eugene". I'm not trying to be a plagiarist or anything but I found a tumblr post that was a screen cap from Eugene Goes Bad with Eugene holding an axe with the title of the song next to him. I was actually thinking of doing a drawing based off the song for a while before I eventually made it and discovering that someone had the same idea of Eugene Horowitz with an axe based off the Pink Floyd composition. It's also unfinished (obviously) because I accidentally destroyed the paper in my journal when I was trying to erase it which sucks.
So this is the final picture I am going to share and it's a really sad Eugene and I really don't know why I made this. I'm kind of proud of it because I actually finished this with the colors and the outlining. However at the same time I actually feel really bad for him, heck I actually do feel bad for him A LOT!!!
That's all I have for now.

Re: Jfgoofy's Fanart
Alright so I have a new batch of drawings that I have done in the past couple of weeks (and month I guess) so here they are
So I did this drawing of Eugene on independence day and to be honest I'm actually quite proud of it (I know I usually don't put my first name or put the date on my drawings, but I didn't care for this one) and I modeled it after a picture of Blake McIver Ewing (his season 5 actor obviously) that I found on gettyimages (and the original is right here http://media.gettyimages.com/photos/actor-blake-mciver-ewing-arrives-at-the-glehlos-angeles-lgbt-centers-picture-id452813856) and I tagged Blake in it, a few days later (I was having trouble deciding if i should tag him or not) and he thought it was great (and yes he liked it)! I feel quite happy!
Alright so this one is obviously just Eugene singing in the shower. I decided to make his shower curtains have fish on em (they were suppose to be tropical fish but I couldn't draw them so instead they are basic lil' fishes) and I did that because of the episode Eugene's Pet, unfortunately I was trying to model the curtain after a scene in the really awful Garfield movie that came out in 2004. Also I put the generic clawfoot tub as the bathtub Eugene is in, and that isn't really important at all (and neither is the appearance of his bathroom), and finally I was going to give Eugene a shower cap (and it would have looked the same as to how Sid wore one in Sid and Germs) but here it just looks like his hair is wet, and either way I'm fine with it.
This was a bit fun actually! So I based this picture on the scene in Monsters Inc. where Sulley accidentally scares Boo while performing the simulation and here it is Stinky (as a vampire) snarling at Sid while he's screaming. Also to be honest I thought the simulation kid sounded a bit like Sid (or Eugene, I don't know who the animatronic sounds closer to) and this is what I came up with. Yeah I messed up the proportions a bit, and of course this isn't my best work. I may redo this in the future.
There isn't that much to talk about this since this is based off of the promo art (which you can also see on one of the discs on the DVD sets and the complete series set) that depicts Sid and I modeled it very well and to be honest I think I did pretty great replicating it minus the little error with his jacket and jeans. I think this could count as a "Reference practice"
