Big Gino Headcanons

Gino really only showed up in about three episodes, so there isn't much canon information about him. But I got a few headcanons for Gino and his family:

Gino's family history: Gino’s grandparents, the Giordanos, immigrated from Sicily to Hillwood in the year 1919. They started off as loan sharks for the local Italian community and eventually made their fortune bootlegging alcohol during the Prohibition. The Giordanos’ main rival was Eduardo “Wheezin’ Ed” Abbiati and his gang, but once he died under “mysterious” circumstances, the city’s black market was once again under the control of the Giordano family. The current leader of the family is Vincent Giordano, with his older sons acting as lieutenants in the family’s operations.

Gino is the youngest of his three brothers and because of his young age, most of the family’s operations are run by his brothers and father.
Gino's dream is to one day become Don of the Giordano family.
Gino’s father shows obvious favoritism towards his brothers which drives a jealous wedge between Gino and the rest of his family. Gino’s older brothers attend private school, while Gino goes to public school, they get allowances while Gino has to make his own money, and worse of all, they get to have active roles within their father’s crime syndicate, while Gino is shut out entirely. Gino thinks that maybe his father is testing him somehow, but it infuriates him to no end. On the flipside however, it has given Gino an opportunity to build up his own network of insiders and has made him more independent and enterprising than his brothers.
Gino is the type of guy that takes great pride in his appearance. He usually wears tailored suits in neutral colors (grey is his favorite) with ties, slacks, and polished shoes or vests when he wants to feel slightly less formal. He likes to keep his hair in a pompadour style, giving it a slick and shiny look due to all the Pomade he puts in it. Gino also carries a fine toothed comb in his pocket, for emergency styling when he’s out.
Gino is fluent in Sicilian and Italian.
Gino’s father wanted his sons to have some class, so he paid for private dancing lessons for all of them. As a result, Gino is a pretty good dancer, with ballroom and swing style dancing as his personal favorites.
Gino’s favorite genres of music are jazz and swing/big band. One of his fondest memories of his parents was listening to Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, and Dino Spumoni tracks together in the living room and dancing with them. Gino’s father often was too busy running his operations to spend much time with his family, so Gino always savored the rare times that they spent together.
Gino also has good memories of watching westerns and film noir with his father. A lot of favorites of his father’s also became favorites of Gino’s.
When Gino was around ten, he would sneak cigarettes from his father’s study and smoke them in his family’s garden, swaggering in imitation of his father. He never dared to touch his father’s Cuban cigars but his father never seemed to notice the few cigarettes that were missing. One day Gino’s mother found him smoking and gave him the biggest spanking/lecture of his life and for a while, Gino stopped his habit. Eventually, he took up smoking again in high school and has had a lifelong habit since.
Gino has a few henchmen that do his dirty work, but his most loyal are Louie and Red. They’ve known each other since they were toddlers and both henchboys’ fathers are personal friends of Gino’s family. Red, Louie, and Gino are usually seen together and when they’re not busy giving shakedowns to their classmates, they get pizzas or play pool in Gino’s hideout. Both boys continue to be a part of Gino’s operations as they get older and remain steadfast to their tiny boss.
As Gino gets older, he becomes even more ruthless and is heavily involved in the criminal underbelly of Hillwood. His fearsome reputation follows him everywhere and most of his peers (except for Helga and Arnold) are terrified of him.
He had a crush on Phoebe during high school and tried to woo her several times before Helga stepped in and gave him a black eye.
