Setting up a role-play!

It's a WIP, but I wanted to first gauge interest in a forum RP. I know I'd be up for it. Personally I'll probably play Wolfgang unless someone would want to take him on. Anyone else interested and, if you could, give an idea of characters you would like to play!

I would be very interested in perchance Helga I'm sure everyone would want her though haha

She will definitely be one of the most popular choices, I can assure you. I have a plan for people being interested in the same character which involves asking for writing samples and then having the community anonymously vote for their favorite.

I have no make or break it deals - I am completely cool with just filling in as any character that's necessary to the story that no one else wanted to play.

Eh, just Arnold or Rhonda or Sid. They are the only ones I feel like I have down well. :-) if I can't be either I'll just observe and enjoy what everyone comes up with :-)

I know I haven't done rp'ing before but I guess I could go with Eugene.

Since we have some interest, let's start brainstorming a basic plot. Usually something simple but that keeps the characters stuck together in some way for an extended period of time.

That sounds like a good idea.

How basic are we brainstorming? Like setting/event basic or do we want more complex plot? I have a few ideas for the basic setting/event, but nothing too complex. Is that what we are going for?

I think a basic idea is probably good. The more complex it gets the harder it can be for people to keep up.

Yup. Examples of previous ideas included the gang lost in the woods and the gang stuck together in walmart andddd the gang stuck in the mall during a blizzard.

Basically, they always get lost or stuck somewhere. Cell phones are (in)conveniently never working. I guess we could move away from that kind of plot bunny...whatcha got, Arnold's Love?

Ok I was thinking...

Maybe they all go to some haunted house as a kind of competition to see who is bravest and lasts the longest inside...
Or...maybe they all decide to go the the cheese festival together...not sure this would have no cell phones, haha, but it might still work.
Or a field trip somewhere...but that's as far as I got on that one, I couldn't think of a good place haha!

I'm not sure if any of these are any good, but I thought I could at least try! :-)

Personally I like the Haunted House one (they're all good, this is just my preference)
