Setting up a role-play!

I think we're waiting for LeSkuh, yes. Since she runs the board she'd most likely need to do any necessary auditions if we're still having multiple people wanting the same character (I think there were quite a few requests for Helga, if I remember correctly...)

Alrighty, sounds good to me. Also, Goofy, if you want to be Stinky, then I can be Gino. I'd be curious what his reactions would be in a haunted house, especially if he doesn't have his gang to back him up. XD

OMG YOU GUYS I'M SO SORRY FOR LEAVING YOU ALL CONFUSED AND HANGING!!!!! I'm catching up now and will try and get everything in order ASAP!

So, rifling through this thread it seems like first choices for everyone are:

Polkahotness - Helga
Rabbit - Park
LeSkuh - Wolfgang
PerhapsorMaybe - Helga
Arnold's Love - Arnold
JFGoofy - Sid or Stinky or Eugene???
Rainbow Raider - Gino or Stinky???

If both Polka and Perhaps would still each like to play Helga we'll have to hold a poll.  If you're both still interested in playing Helga let me know!  And if anyone has changed their minds about who they'd really like to play, try to respond by Friday.  I'm gonna try and nudge some of the original people who've gone quiet recently (which I know is my own fault for disappearing!!!)

The other thing is kids or teens?  So far I have two votes for kids (Perhapsormaybe and Arnold's Love).  I am impartial, though I admit that if we play as kids and I'm Wolfgang I will be very sad that I won't be able to drop the F Bomb so freely.  Lol.

Finally!  This is what I've got for the basic plot line:

Though no one can quite remember how the dare got started, the gang is now going to shut themselves into, what legends consider, the most haunted abandoned house in Hillwood City.  The goal?  To last the night amidst whatever horrors may lurk within the houses’ crumbled halls.  Friends and foes must work together if they wish to survive the night in one piece.  Is the house really haunted or are there more mundane forces at work?  FIND OUT IN OUR SUPER COOL HA! RP!!!!!

Yes, do some nudging! we need more players! I feel like we need a few more of the basic characters as well! :-)

I'm cool with having Polkahotness run as Helga this time around. I think I might want to be Harold since we have no one for him right now and with him being one of the easier to scare characters, I think it'd be a shame for him not to be around. Or I can take any other character we feel should be there (really, I'm not picky)

I love me a good Harold, but there's something about getting to play a semi-villain like Wolfgang that is too much fun to pass up.

Oh, Wolfgang is gonna be awesome to have in this! I can only imagine the extra havoc his bully-ness (because that's totally a word) will wreak!!

I would like to be Sid since it does make sense. I also vote for them as kids.

I'll be Gino then. Honestly, while I do like them as kids, I also like that rping them as teenagers gives a little more flexibility in writing them. My vote is a teen rp, but kid is cool with me too. Maybe we can have a separate thread sometime with a teen storyline.

I agree with you with the separate thread idea!

Do we want to attempt another one, maybe? I think the other one kind of died down pretty quickly and unfortunately (though understandably!) a lot of people are just too busy to be consistently posting.

I'm game. I was bummed it didn't work out. Maybe this time we should have a little bit of the plot preplanned so it's not so messy

We should do another one (Also I think I'll probably do better with this one, i hope)!!

Arnold's Love - I think you're right about the plot thing. I think we should establish the story then kind of figure out main plot points so people don't get stuck.

I wasn't trying to sound hard (I'm just saying that I'll most likely do better), I know it was my first time and thank you!

I have a few ideas. "Field trip", "The kids shrunken down" (kinda like "Honey I Shrunk The Kids"), "Camping"

It's just an idea... but maybe we can all do a live RP on Skype or something at some point? I think that would be FUN
